Our Principal who would lead this effort would be Mike Cartner, Co-Founder and President of MTC.  Mike has spent over 25 years in the world of construction and has delivered projects by nearly every possible contract type in the industry. His experience with Design/Build, Construction Manager-at-Risk, and Hard-Bid contracts has given him the perfect background to build and lead multi-disciplined teams successfully. 

Mike understands how to select the right design team and manage them and their consultants, setting up projects for a collaborative approach that results in a smooth process throughout and a successful end product.  Having seen the contracting side from so many angles, and understanding the relationship between and contractor and their subcontractors & suppliers, Mike also has an intuitive ability to ensure the right team is chosen, top-to-bottom, for the actual project build.  

EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Mike has over 15 years of experience working with County and Municipal Governments as the lead on projects, with a spotless record of delivering their projects on time, and on budget, while exceeding expectations in the end product time and time again.  He has taken dozens of County & Municipal Health Departments, Fire Stations, Public Safety Buildings, Fleet Maintenance Facilities, and many other project types from early concept, through design, and to completion.  Mike understands how to be the conduit between the end-user of these facilities and the design team to ensure that all aspects and features of the project design are considered.  His approach to understanding the needs of the facility operators is thorough and thoughtful, and his experience ensures that he knows the right questions to ask to help steer the project.
